Scottsdale Arizona has been dubbed
Arizona's upscale living and shopping area since the 1960's.
In Old Town Scottsdale you'll find an historic
town filled with interesting shops and fine restaurants.
Homes located nearby Old Town Scottsdale are typically
older homes built during the 1960's and 1970's. Casino
Arizona is located just east of this region on a
nearby Indian reservation. Also, Papago Park
and Botanical Gardens, both of which are popular
tourist attractions, are located close by. The excellent
location is the main selling point for these homes. These
homes sell for around 160K. North of Old Town Scottsdale
is Gainey Ranch and McDowell Mountain Ranch
which are both more modern residential areas. Homes are
much more expensive here costing as much as a million
dollars. Typically homes sell for $300-$400K. These locations
are a short drive to Old Town Scottsdale and they offer
much nicer homes. The Scottsdale Fashion Square
is located in this area and is the preferred shopping
mall in the valley. North Scottsdale Arizona has been
growing exponentially keeping up with Chandler as the
fastest growing areas in Arizona. North Scottsdale has
become a very prestigious area for real estate. Elegant
restaurants such as Sapporo and Barcelona recently open
and draw a large dinner crowd. Homes, apartments, and
office building around the Kyreline Golf course
is also prestigious real estate.
Union Hills is located north of
Scottsdale and is another growing residential area.
New homes are more reasonable priced and should prove
to be sound investments. Carefree and Cave
Creek Arizona is a good 20 minute drive north.
Carefree has a superb real estate. The area is typically
a little cooler then the rest of the valley and has
a small country town feel. Folks here a very friendly.
